Thalassa – terracotta

This ceramic shell is a reproduction of a real seashell I collected on the shores of Mexico. Carefully made by hand in my Copenhagen studio, it preserves the delicate ridges and organic shape of the original shell, turning a moment in nature into a functional, timeless object.

Versatile in use, it’s perfect as a jewellery dish, a salt pinch bowl, a holder for small snacks, or a place for tealights. Its natural white glaze gives it a soft, coastal tone that suits any space—whether by the bedside, in the kitchen, or on a sunlit shelf.
