Description
Process: You will be introduced to the process that every ceramist goes through from the beginning to the end. After this introduction, you will receive 0.5 Kg of clay, tools and a selection of products already finished as inspiration. My workshop is designed to accommodate everyone, whether you’re a beginner or experienced. I’ll serve coffee, tea and a few snacks during the workshop but you’re also welcome to bring your own.
Techniques: In this workshop, you will learn the fundamental methods used in ceramics for building vessels: the pinch, coil, and slab techniques. Each technique has its unique process and characteristics, and they are often chosen based on the desired shape and texture of the final product. I will be by your side every step of the way, providing expert guidance and assistance to help you bring your creative vision to life.
What after? Bisque Firing is done by me once the piece is completely dry, typically 1-2 weeks after our workshop. After bisque, I glaze and glaze fire your creations. This final firing ensures your creation becomes a durable finished work of art. You’ll have access to a variety of glaze options to add the perfect finish to your ceramics. You’ll be able to pick up your pieces after approximately 4 weeks.
